In June 2022, PokerStars launched in their hometown of Ontario. Players were soon treated to their first online poker event, the Ontario Platinum Series, with $1 million guaranteed.
Following on from the success of the Platinum Series, Ontario players are set to experience two high caliber online poker festivals in the coming months.
The inaugural ONCOOP is coming soon. We have the dates for you to save. In the meantime, players can take part in Ontario’s first Bounty Builder Series.
ONCOOP – Save the Date
It’s time to announce Ontario’s first major online championship series. It’s a series that’s set to make a big statement – a commitment to providing players with an online poker experience as thrilling as anywhere else in the world.
The Ontario Championship of Online Poker (ONCOOP) is coming very soon.
You can think of it like Ontario’s very own, localized version of WCOOP. An exciting, full schedule of poker events catering to all tastes and suitable for a range of bankrolls.
Prize pools will reach at least $2 million, making this Ontario’s biggest and richest PokerStars series yet by quite the margin.
ONCOOP is running from October 1 – 17.
Save those dates. It’s going to be huge…
Bounty Builder Series
In the meantime, players can take part in PokerStars Ontario’s first Bounty Builder Series, running September 4 – 19.
Players of all bankroll levels can join in, with buy-ins from $10 to $500 and satellites available. There’s $1 million in guaranteed prizes up for grabs.

The Bounty Builder Series culminates with the $200 Main Event on September 18, which will pay an impressive $100,000 in guaranteed prizes to winners. This will be one of Ontario’s biggest online tourneys so far, so you won’t want to miss it. Check out the lobby for upcoming satellites.
