VESTAS (1) was disappointing first up behind star NZ filly Alabama Lass at Flemington but got back in an on-pace dominated race and simply couldn't get close. She'd jumped out well leading in and has the class to beat these if she can bounce back. THAMES (5) has placed in all three runs this time in. Beaten half a length by Zloties two back is good form for this and she tried hard again last time. If she can just settle closer, she'll be awfully hard to beat. ROCKIN' AT MIDNITE (8) ran well fresh at Caulfield, sticking on fairly for third (Thames was second). Fitter for that now and has claims. MCKEYLA (2) is racing consistently and should be thereabouts. CHEWING GUM (6) could be an improver off a more genuine speed.
