Both teams to score predictions: October 30

Fulham vs West Brom4/6

Precious points at the top of the table are on offer in the first of our both teams to score predictions as two of the Championship’s promotion candidates face off at Craven Cottage.

Fulham occupy second spot in the table and the Cottagers, who have lost only once at home this season, have triumphed in their last three.

They have racked up 10 goals in the process and ended Steve Cooper’s bright start to his time in charge of Nottingham Forest when 4-0 winners at the City Ground last weekend.

An Aleksandar Mitrovic brace in that contest took him to 15 for the season and he is out on his own now, five clear in the top goalscorer list.

Valerien Ismael, Jake Livermore, West Brom, both teams to score

He will be looking to add to his tally against a West Brom side that have struggled on their travels recently, losing their last two fixtures.

However, they remain only a point behind their hosts and in third place in the table.

As the joint-second highest scorers in the division, an exciting contest looks on the cards here as both look for an immediate return to the top flight.

Sheffield United vs Blackpool17/20

The Blades got the better of Barnsley in a five-goal thriller last Sunday and are now just three points away from the play-off places.

Meanwhile, Blackpool’s victory over local rivals Preston in their Lancashire derby put them on enough points to make the top six but it is goal difference that is keeping them in 11th place.

That shows the competitive nature of the Championship, where one result either way can dramatically affect the table.

Both of these two have proven good value for entertainment in recent weeks and another humdinger can be expected at Bramall Lane.

All four of the hosts’ last four games have seen both teams find the scoresheet while the same applies to four of Blackpool’s last five.

We feel goals are a given in the next of our btts predictions this weekend.

Derby vs Blackburn9/10

It was wise to stay clear of the Rams for both teams to score purposes earlier this term as although languishing towards the bottom of the table, they had one of the best defensive records in the league.

However, that has all changed in recent weeks and goals have started to come at both ends of the park.

Wayne Rooney, Derby, both teams to score

Unbeaten in five, Wayne Rooney’s side have drawn their last four as they continue their quest for a great escape following a 12-point deduction.

The Rams are unbeaten at home this term and will be looking to maintain that record against a Blackburn side that have lost their last three on the road.

Although their away form is far from inspirational, Rovers have scored three times in those games and have the firepower to cause Derby troubles.

The fast-paced nature of the Championship could be catching up with the Rams’ threadbare squad and makes this fixture the perfect candidate for our goals galore tips.

Plymouth vs Ipswich4/5

League One’s two highest-scoring sides go head to head at Home Park.

However, the big difference is their respective league positions, with the hosts at the summit while the Tractor Boys are in 10th.

That is mainly down to their defensive records as while the Pilgrims have kept it relatively tight at the back, Ipswich have conceded 22 times and have left vital points on the park.

Eight of Plymouth’s last 10 have seen goals galore land while Ipswich’s recent contests have also seen plenty of action.

It seems fair to expect plenty of entertainment once again in the next of our both teams to score tips.

Rotherham vs Sunderland4/5

The last of our both teams to score predictions for the weekend comes from the New York Stadium as Rotherham look to keep their fine run of form going in this top-six clash.

The Millers are unbeaten in 10 in all competitions and have won five of their last six in the league.

Paul Warne, Rotherham, Both teams to score

That has propelled Paul Warne’s side to fifth in the table and they are just one point behind Sunderland.

Although surprisingly losing their last league fixture against Charlton, the Black Cats scraped through to the last eight of the EFL Cup in midweek after beating QPR on penalties and still have a game in hand on most of their rivals.

Both of these sides look sure to be gunning for promotion at the business end of the season and with two of the division’s highest-scoring attacks facing off, there could be plenty of opportunities for goals in South Yorkshire.
