Premier League predictions and preview

Top three Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are showing signs they are ready to pull away from the pack and they look set to entertain once again this weekend.

We have a prediction for all 10 matches this weekend but we have picked out our best four in an acca for Saturday at Premier League odds of over 13/1.

Premier League tips: October 30 – Nov 1

Premier League acca13.57/1

Leicester vs Arsenal (Sat, 12.30)

Leicester have got back to being the team we are used to seeing in recent weeks and two consecutive victories have moved them into the top half of the table.

They are now unbeaten in four and have won three on the bounce, if including the entertaining Europa League victory over Spartak Moscow.

Jamie Vardy, Leicester, Premier League predictions

Arsenal, meanwhile, extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to six when beating Aston Villa last time.

It is difficult to split this pair so we’ll go both teams to score as our opening Premier League tip in what should be an end-to-end game.

Both teams to score8/13

Burnley vs Brentford (Sat, 15.00)

Burnley have drawn three of their last four but are without a win at Turf Moor since January and that is worrying ahead of the visit of the Bees.

Brentford have lost their last two but continue to put up a good fight and won’t be overawed by this trip to Lancashire.

Thomas Frank’s side can come out on top in our Premier League predictions.

Brentford to win31/20

Liverpool vs Brighton (Sat, 15.00)

Although not winning in four, Brighton remain in fifth which is a testament to their fine start to the season.

However, the last thing they would want following last weekend’s beating from Manchester City is a trip to a rampant Liverpool.

Having won their last two 5-0, we fancy the Reds to be full of goals once again and over 3.5 appeals at 6/5 in our Premier League betting tips.

Over 3.5 goals6/5

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace (Sat, 15.00)

It is a case of anything Liverpool can do we can also do for the defending champions, who blew Brighton out of the water last weekend.

It would be no surprise if they put the Seagulls’ bitter rivals Crystal Palace to the sword this time around.

We fancy Pep Guardiola’s side, who have scored nine in their last two, to find the scoresheet with regularity once again here.

Over 3.5 goals21/20

Newcastle vs Chelsea (Sat, 15.00)

Newcastle are without a manager and still to pick up a victory and that is unlikely to change as Chelsea visit St James’ Park.

It is possibly the worst time for them to be facing the leaders, with Thomas Tuchel’s side running riot against Norwich last weekend.

Jorginho, Chelsea, Premier League predictions

It is hard to see Newcastle getting much joy against the best defence in the league and a Chelsea clean sheet makes plenty of appeal as one of our Premier League predictions.

Chelsea - Clean Sheet1/1

Watford vs Southampton (Sat, 15.00)

Following a disastrous start to the Claudio Ranieri era when thrashed by Liverpool, Watford bounced back in style by recording a 5-2 victory at Everton.

Josh King stole all the headlines with a hat-trick at Goodison Park and will be looking to add to his tally at Vicarage Road.

Southampton have picked up four points from their last two fixtures and will be bidding to continue that form.

We think there is plenty of value about the 2/1 for a Watford win and we’ll back the Hornets to just about shade this one.

Watford to win2/1

Tottenham vs Manchester United (Sat, 17.30)

The pressure is well and truly mounting on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following last weekend’s annihilation at the hands of Liverpool and they have now gone four league games without a victory.

Having conceded nine in their last two Premier League fixtures, there are holes all over the Manchester United back-line without the injured Raphael Varane.

Harry Kane, Tottenham, Premier League predictions

Tottenham also enter this fixture on the back of a defeat in the league but their home form will give them plenty of encouragement and Harry Kane could be just the man to make United pay.

It is hard to see this one ending goalless so we’ll take a chance on over 2.5 goals as one of our Premier League betting tips this weekend.

Over 2.5 goals7/10

Norwich vs Leeds (Sun, 14.00)

Positive results have been hard to come by for these two, especially Norwich, who are still to record a victory and are shackled to the bottom of the league with just two points.

Both will see this as an opportunity for some vital points but with goals few and far between for both these sides, under 2.5 may be the way to go in our Premier League tips.

Under 2.5 goals21/20

Aston Villa vs West Ham (Sun, 16.30)

West Ham have won six of their last seven in all competitions and look the team to be with in this Villa Park clash.

Villa have lost their last three and have slipped to 13th in the table while the Hammers’ victory over Tottenham last weekend took them into the top four.

An away victory looks on the cards here as one of our best footy bets this weekend.

West Ham to win29/20

Wolves vs Everton (Mon, 20.00)

Wolves are the form side in this one as they return to Molineux only a last-gasp Leeds penalty away from winning four on the bounce.

Everton have lost their last two and their progress has stagnated a little since the international break.

However, it is hard to discount such a talented Toffees squad and it would be no surprise if there was little between these two on Monday night.

With that in mind, we’ll wrap up our Premier League predictions by backing the draw.
