Shootout tournaments

What is a shootout tournament?

A shootout is a tournament where players must win their whole table before moving on to the next stage.

Prizes can include major tournament entries or cash.

Unlike regular tournaments, tables aren't balanced as players are eliminated. Play continues until one player remains at each table.

How do shootout tournaments work?

  1. Players compete at their starting tables until one player remains at each table.
  2. The remaining players are seated at new tables.
  3. Players continue playing until one player remains at each new table.
  4. The process goes on until an overall winner is determined.

What is a double shootout?

A double shootout starts with nine tables of nine players.

The winner from each table advances to one final table, where they compete to determine the overall winner.

What are triple and quadruple shootouts?

  • A triple shootout requires players to win three consecutive tables.
  • A quadruple shootout requires players to win four consecutive tables.

Can a shootout tournament be canceled?

Yes. Shootout tournaments will usually be canceled if the minimum number of players required to run the tournament isn't reached.

The tournament lobby shows the minimum number of players required.
