On October 7, PokerStars UK moved to Betfair. PokerStars UK is closed for game play, but all poker games will continue on the PokerStars on Betfair platform. As part of this change, the company responsible for processing your personal data in connection with gameplay (the "data controller") has changed from TSG Interactive Services (Ireland) Limited to Power Leisure Bookmakers Limited. Your privacy rights will remain the same, and Power Leisure Bookmakers Limited will be responsible for handling any requests relating to your personal data.
If you don’t yet have a Betfair account and would like to continue playing poker, you can download PokerStars on Betfair and log in using your existing PokerStars credentials. You’ll need to review Betfair’s Privacy Notice and accept Betfair’s General Terms and Conditions before you can start playing. If you choose not to accept Betfair’s General Terms and Conditions, you won’t be able to play PokerStars on Betfair, but you’ll still be able to withdraw any remaining balance from your PokerStars account by contacting Customer Support. If you already have an active Betfair account, you should withdraw any remaining funds from your PokerStars account and use your existing Betfair account to continue playing.
You won't be able to access poker games using the current PokerStars platform. You would have to move to PokerStars on Betfair to continue playing.

Yes, but you won’t be able to access PokerStars on Betfair. You’ll be asked to withdraw your funds from PokerStars.UK. If you wish to continue playing on PokerStars, please open an account on www.pokerstars.com if available in your country of residence. Your PokerStars.UK account will be closed.
If you have an active account on Betfair, you were unregistered from all PokerStars tournaments and your buy-in was refunded, so you can withdraw your remaining balance.
If you did not already have an active Betfair account, your existing tournament registrations will be available on PokerStars on Betfair once you've logged in and accepted Betfair’s General Terms and Conditions.
If you have an active Betfair account, we have converted all your T-Money and unused tournament tickets into cash that you can withdraw on PokerStars.

If you don't already have the PokerStars on Betfair desktop app, you'll be prompted to download it the next time you log in to PokerStars.The app is available for both Windows and macOS.
Once installed, a new PokerStars on Betfair application will be added to your computer. Your default currency on Betfair will be British Pound (GBP). If you didn’t already have an active Betfair account, your PokerStars account balance has been converted into GBP.
Currency conversion will happen automatically whenever you buy into or cash out of any PokerStars poker tables. You won't be able to choose when currency conversion takes place. You may notice small differences in your balance due to repeated conversions and rounding. These differences are typically the equivalent of a few pence.
When you buy into or cash out of a poker table, you'll see a Currency Exchange rate message which will show the exchange rate being applied and ask you to confirm the currency conversion before continuing.
Exchange rates are updated throughout each day and no margin is added to the mid-market exchange rate.
If you didn’t have an active account on Betfair, on October 7 we sent you a six-digit Security Code which is used for additional security checks and is required to reset your password on Betfair in case you have forgotten it. Keep this email safe as you might also need this code in the future. Please keep this email somewhere safe, as you may need the code again in the future.

However, players are only permitted to use one account at a time and cannot enter the same tournament from multiple accounts, even if they've already been eliminated from one of them.

If you already have an active Betfair account, you should withdraw funds from your PokerStars account. The cashier section of your PokerStars account will remain available until November 4, 2026. Yes. You'll be able to view up to three months of your PokerStars transaction history on Betfair. To help keep things running smoothly, transaction history downloads are available one month at a time.
You can find your poker playing history in the desktop client under the Tools menu, or in the poker and web apps under the Account menu.
The new Favorite Games feature lets you save your favorite casino games for quicker access on Betfair. Any games you mark as favorites will appear in a dedicated Favorites section, making it easier to find and jump back into the games you enjoy most.
This can be especially useful after the move to Betfair, as your Recently Played history won't be transferred. By using Favorites, you can quickly rebuild your preferred games list and get back to playing with less searching.
