BETWEEN THE LINES
to celebrate the most recent F1 season, PokerStars and ORBR invite you to embrace the race with Between the Lines, a new video series that puts you in the driving seat and into the world of the biggest stars of F1 and poker.

Over an eight-month period, Between the Lines went full throttle from track to table, showcasing the strategies shared by both the fastest racers and greatest grinders.
Sergio Perez and Christian Horner from ORBR join some of the biggest names from the poker world — including Lex Veldhuis, Liv Boeree, Steve O’Dwyer, and Hossein Ensan — to break down the common philosophies in both F1 and poker.
Check out all four episodes below.
EPISODES
Episode 1 – Fortune Favours the Brave: Unforeseen rain at the Monaco Grand Prix forced Team ORBR to make a bold decision early in the race. Meanwhile, Hossein Ensan plays fearlessly from the off at EPT Prague attempting to recover from a short stack. Will these strategy calls put them in a winning position?
Episode 2 — Turning the Tables: How do you put adversity in the rear-view mirror to bring home the win? Max Verstappen starts in P14 in Belgium, so puts on a masterclass to get to the front. At EPT Barcelona, Giuliano Bendinelli finds himself down to just one big blind and digs deep to execute an extraordinary victory.
Episode 3 — The Waiting Game: Weather conditions at the Singapore GP meant that despite taking an early lead, ORBR would need to remain calm and observe the competition to secure the win. Steve O’Dwyer’s strategy at EPT Monte Carlo was to play the long game, cleverly waiting for more aggressive players to knock each other out before going on the attack.
Episode 4 — One Step Ahead: Max Verstappen and Michele Dattani dominate in Hungary and the Bahamas respectively. Both lead throughout, anticipating their challengers’ strategies and disrupting them at every turn. All they must do is hold their nerve to the finish line…
