There is the race for SCOOP supremacy between Shaun Deeb (five) and Calvin “cal42688” Anderson (six) currently the number one and two title holders for not only SCOOP but overall -COOPs with eight a piece.
Matt ‘plattsburgh’ Vengrin is looking for his second SCOOP title in this series after winning Event #28-M to go along with his two World Championship on Online Poker titles.
Stephen “stevie444” Chidwick comes in with three -COOP titles as well. Much like Vengrin, he already has a title in this series after taking down Event #20-M.
Mike “goleafsgoeh” Leah does not own a SCOOP title (yet), but like Vengrin and Chidwick does own two WCOOP titles including last year’s Event #27 and a $5K turbo at the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.
__akun333___ took away a WCOOP bracelet in 2014’s Event #50 in a Stud-game (Razz).
Nairam “marjanko89” Kim made a Sunday Million final table this year taking fifth place for $50K.
With only one elimination before the final table of eight, hand-for-hand play started up on the first hand of Day Two. All nine almost made through the hour but with 15 minutes to go with the bets at 40K/80K ante 8K Freddy[DM[3] would be all-in after the door cards were dealt. Anderson tried to bet on fifth but Chidwick stayed in. Chidwick would take over the aggression betting on sixth and seventh as Anderson called and mucked after seeing Chidwick’s two pair K♥ K♦ / 3â™ 8â™ A♥ 3♦ / 6â™ . Freddy[DM[3] was unable to continue mucking as well to start up the final table below:
Seat 1: __akun333___ (495356 in chips)

Nearly ten minutes into the final table with the bets holding, Deeb would raise as Leah, __akun333___, and Vengrin all tagged along. Everyone called Shaun’s bet on fourth street, but on fifth Vengrin led out as Deeb raised, knocking out Leah, but __akun333___ stayed in. Vengrin three-bet all-in for 14K more as both players called. By the river Deeb would be all-in for 26K showing aces and fours 4â™ A♥ / A♦ 7♥ Qâ™ 4♦ / Kâ™ . __akun333___ showed the second-nut low A♣ 3♦ / 2â™ 6♦ 2♥ K♣ / 4♣ as Vengrin could only produce a pair of eights with an eight-seven low 6â™ 3â™ / 8â™ Aâ™ 8♦ 7♦ / Q♥ claiming eighth place ($1,936.00).
The five players remaining would chill after the fast start as the next elimination would come after another level raise to 60K/120K ante 12K. 25 minutes after gangstachel9’s departure, Leah would bring-in as Kim raised and Chidwick three-bet. Only Kim called to see fourth street. Chidwick would bet as Kim check-called, but on fifth Kim led out as Chidwick raised, Kim three-bet putting Chidwich all-in for his last 72K. Chidwick’s wired queens found a third Q♦ Q♣ / A♣ 6♣ Qâ™ J♣ / 4♦ but Kim’s tens found three sevens 10♥ 10â™ / 7♦ 7♣ 9♥ 7♥ / 5♣ to knockout Chidwick in fifth place ($4,840.00)
__akun333___ (Poland) $15,979.94
marjanko89(Ukraine) $15,464.06
__akun333___ would start off with the advantage over Kim 2.74 million to 2.09 million and stretch that lead with a 2.1 million chip pot four hands later after notching a full house which Kim was not able to find a split.
15 minutes later with the bets up to 100K/200K ante 20K and __akun333___ increasing the lead to 3.8 million to 1.02 million over Kim. __akun333___ would raise as Kim brought-in and called. Kim would check-call on fourth but check-raised on fifth which __akun333___ called. After leading out on sixth, Kim would be forced to call all-in after __akun333___’s raise. Kim’s bluff nor king-high 6â™ 7♣ / 3♣ K♥ 4♦ Q♦ / 10♦ was enough to knock __akun333___ off a pair of queens Qâ™ Aâ™ / Q♣ 3♦ Jâ™ 2♦ / 7♥. Already holding a WCOOP bracelet __akun333___ now has -COOP jewelry for both wrists after claiming the SCOOP 2016 Event #33-M title and $16,479.94!
