Winter was coming. Now it’s here, insisting we stay indoors where it’s warm and cosy. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing…
Because as the weather outside gets frightful, things are heating up across PokerStars’ poker and casino challenges this winter, where there’s a cool $2 million waiting to be won.
Yep, you read that right. PokerStars is giving away up to $2 million across five weeks from December 1 to January 4–with $850K reserved solely for poker challenges–and you’re just a few clicks away from playing a share for yourself.
This special promotion is called Snowball, and with good reason. Each week, the prize draws for participants will snowball in size, potentially reaching a staggering $200,000 giveaway.
Taking part couldn’t be simpler. Here’s how you can join the Snowball festivities.
HOW TO OPT-IN FOR SNOWBALL
Snowball is a cross-promotion between PokerStars’ casino and poker offerings, and that means players have more chances of winning.
First, open the Challenges tab in your PokerStars client.
POKER CHALLENGE
There’s $850,000 in poker rewards being given away across the five weeks (Dec 1-Jan 4), so don’t miss out!
Opt in for the poker challenge in your Challenges tab. Once you’ve opted in, every hand you play earns redemption points, which help you get tickets to Monday’s prize draw.
The weekly prize draws have up to $200,000 in rewards waiting to be won! There will be Power Path Silver Passes worth $2,500 up for grabs, as well as plenty of $109 Sunday Million tickets and other rewards.
Each week has two point targets, giving you the chance to earn up to two tickets. You’ll also be able to qualify for up to five entries into exclusive weekly $20,000-guaranteed All-In Shootouts (running until January 5). These are tournaments you can win without being logged in!
The earlier you join, the more weekly All-In Shootouts you will take part in.
| Week | Target 1 | Target 2 |
|---|---|---|
| 1 (December 1–7) | 5 redemption points | 25 redemption points |
| 2 (December 8–14) | 10 redemption points | 50 redemption points |
| 3 (December 15–21) | 15 redemption points | 75 redemption points |
| 4 (December 22–28) | 20 redemption points | 100 redemption points |
| 5 (December 29–January 4) | 25 redemption points | 125 redemption points |
And that’s not all. Hit your points targets and you’ll also earn Throwables to show off your Snowball skills.
