Hand history may not save for one of the following reasons:
First, check whether hand history saving is enabled. If the issue continues, follow the troubleshooting steps below.
You can enable hand history saving from the 'Hand History' settings page.
If hand history saving was already enabled, or the issue remains after enabling it, proceed to the troubleshooting steps below.
The save folder must allow the PokerStars software to create and update files.
The ‘Program Files’ folder is commonly write-protected and may prevent hand histories from saving.
To change the save location:
A corrupted settings file can prevent hand history files from saving.
You can fix this by renaming the settings file, which forces the PokerStars software to create a new, uncorrupted settings file.
You will lose your current settings, but future changes will save to the new file.
Third-party applications can interfere with hand history saving.
Examples include:
Close all third-party applications and test whether hand histories save correctly.
If hand histories save correctly after disabling third-party applications, contact the third-party application's Support team.
