Well, if you can make it to London January 22-29, you can take part in the very first PokerStars Festival of the new year.

Beginning January 22 at the Hippodrome Casino (pictured above), the PokerStars Festival will host eight days of poker action. With events beginning at £165 and climbing to £2,200, the Festival is ready to show London what it’s all about. There are even freebuy satellites to get you into the Main Event.
That Main Event runs January 25-29 and will cost you £990 to get in, and you’ll be playing for a £400,000 guaranteed prize pool. If that one isn’t big enough for you, the Festival will also host a £2,200 High Roller January 24-25.
If you have played the UK & Ireland Poker Tour in the past, you will remember the Hippodrome well. When you arrive, you’ll notice PokerStars has increased its space in the venue by 20%. That means more tables and more action.
If that all sounds good but you don’t feel you have the bankroll to show up, consider this: on January 13th you’ll have the opportunity to play £50 buy-in Spin & Go tourneys for a chance to win a £990 Main Event entry ticket. (Note: These Spin & Go tourneys are available only to UK players).
