Over 22 years of the European Poker Tour, spanning 153 Main Events across 22 countries and 28 cities, one destination stands head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to the numbers:
Barcelona.
In fact, nine of the 10 biggest Main Events in tour history took place right here in the Catalan capital.
The 2026 edition of the EPT Barcelona Main Event once again boasts staggering numbers, enough to rank it the seventh-biggest Main Event in history by total entries, with 1,823 registrations (from 1,297 unique players).
There were 635 entries on Day 1A followed by 1,049 on Day 1B, plus a further 139 entries that came at the start of Day 2 to complete the field.
All those entries have created a prize pool of €8,841,550 and a top prize of €1,370,050
Below, you’ll not only find all the stats from the 2026 EPT Barcelona Main Event, but also some interesting stats from tour history, provided to us by the great Jan Kores, PokerStars Media Coordinator extraordinaire.
