Home / News / EPT Paris: Dazzling images from across the festival

The EPT Paris festival is in full swing, and there’s been more action than any one person can hope to see. Thankfully, the PokerStars Live team of photographers — Danny Maxwell, Manuel Kovsca, Jules Pochy and Eloy Cabacas — have been wandering this cavernous venue late into the night to capture everything. Take a look at some of the images below.

Here’s just a small sample of their photography work this week. You can see everything at the PokerStars Live official Flickr page.

It’s not only at-table poker strategy that has been revolutionised by the Spin & Go Championship. James Hartigan’s presenting style has also undergone a high-octane makeover. Here’s our favourite presenter and commentator perhaps auditioning for a job with the WWE. He’s to the manor born.

The three-handed action provided plenty of thrills for people here in the room in Paris, as well as thousands watching on the stream at home. Also some great angles for the photographers to do their best work.

With his huge hair and distinctive sunglasses, Diogo da Silva got into the real spirit of the Spin & Go Championship. Photographer Manuel Kovsca enjoyed capturing Da Silva’s antics.

Raul Mestre has been playing poker for more than two decades, and has been offering superlative coaching for longer than almost anyone in Europe. But the old dog still has plenty of tricks of his own, and his success in the Spin & Go Championship was greeted with delight by his legions of fans. Mestre himself, it’s safe to say, was pretty happy with how it turned out as well. It was a fine performance from the newly-minted PokerStars Ambassador.

What a week for David Lappin. The Irish poker pro, commentator and writer became the latest player to join the Team PokerStars roster after coming through the gruelling Live League leaderboard and then audition process. Here’s Lappin enjoying his first night as a Team Pro at the EPT Paris player party.

It’s been another incredible EPT festival for Felix Schneiders. The PokerStars Ambassador ran deep in the PokerStars Open Cup and the PokerStars Open Main Event, and played into Day 4 of the EPT Main Event. (He’s still in at time of writing.) Schneiders rarely spends a moment when he’s not being filmed, with his Grind on Tour crew watching his every move. But here a look at some of Schneiders’ team, alongside the main man at the EPT Paris Welcome Drinks.

Enrico Camosci, Gerard Rubiralta and Steinn Du Karlsson certainly put the hours in at the PokerStars Live tables in 2025, and by the end of a long 12 months, they got the prize they’d been searching for. They won the High, Medium and Low tiers respectively, and received their trophies at a presentation ceremony in Paris.

The full Live League presentation line up (l-r): James Hartigan, Enrico Camosci, Julien Liarte, Gerard Rubiralta, Willie Elliot, Steinn Du Karlsson, Margarita Kuzmina.

The French security services — aka, high roller Jean-Noel Thorel — was in attendance again at EPT Paris. Thorel, closing in on 80, is still once of the sharpest minds on the circuit and he was once again in the money at this event, finishing fourth in the €100K Super High Roller.

Players and staff alike headed to the Windo Sky Bar on the eve of the EPT Main Event for the EPT Welcome Drinks. Alongside plentiful food and drink, the views were sensational.
