POKERSTARS RELEASE NOTES – APRIL 2026
We are excited to announce the latest updates and improvements to our online poker platform. Here’s what’s new in this release:
Desktop – Table
25th Anniversary Celebration
New 25th Anniversary Table Theme: Celebrate PokerStars 25th anniversary with a commemorative table theme, available on desktop and mobile. Enable or disable this theme in your Optional Graphics settings, and you’ll still be able to customise your table felt colour.
Desktop – Navigation
Phased Tournament Prize Display
The prize pool information in phased tournaments now displays more clearly. Entry phases show “Phase Prize Pool” with a helpful tooltip explaining that remaining prizes move to the Final Phase. First prize now correctly displays “Final Phase Entry” for qualifying tournaments.
Web – Gaming
Multi-Tabling for Web Poker
Players can now play 1-4 tables simultaneously in their web browser, in any supported game mode on desktop or mobile devices.
When a table is opened, an icon will appear in the header bar, and additional tables will appear as they are opened. Tapping or clicking on the tables will switch between them during play.
Now live in .COM, .FR, .PT, .ES and .IT.
Bug Fixes
We have removed several bugs, including:
- Tournament Estimated Duration: Fixed an issue where the estimated duration for featured tournaments (like SCOOP) wasn’t showing correctly in the sidecar view.
- Tournament Re-entry: Tables now automatically open when you re-enter a tournament during late registration.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when closing the Mac client.
- Play Money Lobby Display: Fixed a display bug where buy-in ranges in the Play Money Lobby showed incorrect values.
- Cookie Popup: Fixed an issue where some players were repeatedly seeing the cookie consent pop-up.
- PKO Tournament Icon: The Progressive Knockout icon in Phase 2 tournament lobbies now displays in red for better visibility.
- Network Status Dialogue (Mac): The network status dialogue and tracer application have been removed from the Mac client.

MARCH 2026
Desktop
- Refined visual design with updated fonts for improved readability across poker tables and widgets.
- Various regional improvements to maintain compliance.
Bug Fixes
We have removed several bugs, including:
- Fixed the search functionality issue in the Total Net Deposits history for UK players.
- Eliminated timeout issues during the installation of software updates on Mac.
- Enhanced crash detection and reporting for better stability.
- Fixed display of prize winnings in phased tournaments – now correctly shows cash prizes instead of chip counts.
- Tournament recommendations now correctly hide games once registration closes.
- Improved cash game recommendations to show appropriate stake levels.
Improvements included in this release:
- Improved error reporting for better issue diagnosis.
- Enhanced security with updated Windows installer.
- Performance optimisations for lobby publications.
- Better support for deeplinks to Casino and Sports sections, where available.
FEBRUARY 2026
HOME GAMES
- Improved club joining process – resolved an issue where players were unable to join clubs due to incorrect membership limit settings. It’s easier than ever to play with your friends.
DESKTOP CLIENT IMPROVEMENTS
- Updated visual design with improved fonts for better readability across poker tables and widgets.
- Enhanced customer satisfaction survey display for easier completion. So you can tell us how we’re doing!
- Improvements to the Recommended Games feature that will enhance personalisation, making it easier to find the games you love.
REGIONAL UPDATES
- Bulgaria: Dual currency display now shows BGN equivalents alongside EUR amounts in account balances and transaction dialogues.
SOCIAL FEATURES
- Express yourself! Four new emoji reactions are available at the poker tables: Clown, Yawn, Cold Face, and Shaking Face.
BUG FIXES – TOURNAMENTS
- Fixed display of prizes in phased tournaments – now correctly shows cash prizes instead of chip counts.
BUG FIXES – TABLE & LOBBY
- Fixed checkbox colours in dark-themed areas for better visibility.
- Improved table preview images in the lobby to better represent the actual table appearance.
- Enhanced Fast Deposit button display when joining games with insufficient funds.
