WCOOP League Sports NAPT Freeroll Competition Terms and Conditions ("Special Terms")
The following Special Terms form the information for the WCOOP Freeroll Competition ("Competition").
THIS COMPETITION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
- The promoter of the Competition is Stars Interactive Limited ("Promoter", "PokerStars", "we" or "us"), whose registered office is at Douglas Bay Complex, King Edward Road, Onchan, Isle of Man, IM3 1DZ.
- By entering the Competition, participants ("Entrant(s)") a) agree to be bound by these Special Terms and the general terms and conditions for promotions ("General Terms") that apply to all promotions and competitions organised by the Promoter in connection with the www.pokerstars.uk website ("Site") and b) confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements for the Competition.
- The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with X or any other social network.
- The Competition is not in conjunction with or tied to any other competition or promotions that may be running at the same time or other times.
- Every Entrant is limited to one entry per Competition and any subsequent entries will be disqualified.
Who is eligible?
- Entrants must meet the eligibility requirements as specified in the Competition Post, these Special Terms and the General Terms. Failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in an entry being invalid and/or forfeiture of any prize.
- Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and have a verified and validated PokerStars.UK account on the Site. Proof of identification, age and address may be required at the request of the Promoter and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct any ID and security checks it sees fit to confirm Entrants comply with all eligibility requirements.
- Entrants must not permit or allow another person to take part in the Competition on their behalf.
- Employees and relatives and/or affiliates of employees of the Flutter Group are not permitted to participate in any Promotion. For the purpose of this clause, the term 'relative' shall mean but not be limited to spouse, partner, parent, cousin, child or sibling and 'affiliates' shall include, but not be limited to, such an employee's housemate(s) or co-habitee(s).
How to qualify and how the Competition works
- In order to be eligible for the Competition, Entrants must from September 5, 2024 until the end of World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) on October 2, 2024 ("Competition Period") place a minimum $5 winning bet on the WCOOP League market predicting the winning Captain’s team. This is the only entry route to the Competition and entries that do not comply with the provisions of this paragraph will not be eligible.
The Prize
- All winning bets on the WCOOP League market will receive a ticket to WCOOP League NAPT Freeroll taking place on October 5, 2024 at 19:02 BST. In addition to these special terms, the general customer terms and tournament rules governing the participation tournaments on the Site apply to the participation in the Freeroll.
What else do Entrants need to know?
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify an Entrant and forfeit their prize where the Promoter has reasonable grounds to believe that: (i) there has been a breach of these Special Terms and/or the General Terms and/or any terms and conditions relating to participation in the tournaments, (ii) an Entrant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Competition, (iii) an Entrant has used fraudulent means in connection with the Competition and/or the tournaments. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, which will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in this respect.
- If the Promoter wishes to promote the Competition and the prize winner for PR purposes, it will seek the winner’s consent and the winner may be asked to provide a quote about the win, their name, their town/city of residence and a photograph for publication on the Site and the Promoter’s social channels.
- The Promoter, its group companies and its agencies and contractors, shall not be liable for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, X or at any website, including any injury to or resulting from participation or downloading of any materials in the Competition.
- The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this Competition at any time without notice, including in the event of any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or in any other event outside of the Promoter’s control, and the Promoter shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these Special Terms, and such change shall be effective immediately upon posting them on the Site.
- To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the Promoter does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any Entrant as a result of either participating in the Competition or not winning a prize.
- The information provided will only be used by the Promoter in connection with the Competition in accordance with the Privacy Policy available here.
- The Competition and these Special Terms shall be governed by the English law and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of the whole or any part of the Special Terms does not affect or impede the continued validity, legality and enforceability of the remainder of the Special Terms.

WCOOP League NAPT Freeroll prize terms
WCOOP League NAPT Freeroll ("Freeroll") will take place on October 5, 2024 at 20:02 CEST. In addition to these special terms, the general customer terms and tournament rules governing the participation in tournaments on the www.pokerstars.uk website ("Site") apply to the participation in the Freeroll.
Prize description and how to redeem a prize
- The player who comes in first place: $10,300 NAPT Gold Pass consisting of the following: entry to NAPT Las Vegas Main Event worth $5,300, 7 nights’ accommodation for the player and one guest at Resorts World Las Vegas (check in November 4, 2024 and check out November 11, 2024) worth $2,860, plus $2,140 credited as expenses to their PokerStars account on the Site.
- The player who comes in second place in the Freeroll will win a Silver Pass consisting of $2,500 worth of buy-ins for selected PokerStars regional live events or selected PokerStars online poker tournaments.
- The player who comes in third place in the Freeroll will win a $530 NAPT Satellite ticket.
- The players who come in 4th-9th place in the Freeroll will win a Bronze Pass worth $109 which can be used in selected PokerStars online poker tournament with the same buy-in or for Step 4 of the Power Path.
- The players who come in 10th-18th place in the Freeroll will win a $55 NAPT Satellite ticket.
- The players who come in 19th-75th place in the Freeroll will win a Step 3 Power Path ticket.
- The players who come in 76th-125th place in the Freeroll will win a $5.50 NAPT Satellite ticket.
How to redeem a prize
- The winners will receive a confirmation pop-up message. To redeem their prize, winners must visit the ‘Power Path’ tab in the PokerStars client or mobile app and follow the steps, as described below.
- Winners of the NAPT Gold Pass and NAPT Satellite tickets must be aged 21 or over. If a player who is under 21 years of age wins the NAPT Gold Pass or a NAPT Satellite ticket in the Freeroll, their prize will be forfeited.
- To redeem the NAPT Gold Power Pass, the winner must register for NAPT Las Vegas 2024. Once registered, they will receive an email from the PokerStars Live Events team to their registered email address with more information.
- To redeem the Silver Power Pass, the winner must do one of the following:
- If they wish to use their Silver Pass to play online poker and redeem a bundle of online poker tickets, the winner must register for their selected target tournaments included in the bundle. Upon registration, the ticket bundle will be credited to the players’ Stars Account.
- If they wish to use their Silver Pass to play at a live poker event, the winner must register for their selected live event. Once registered, they will receive an email from the PokerStars Live Events team to their registered email address with more information.
- To redeem a Bronze Power Pass, the winner must register for the target tournament by clicking on ‘Register’.
- All other ticket prizes will be credited to the winners’ PokerStars accounts on the Site after the end of the Freeroll.
- The first prize of the NAPT Las Vegas Gold Pass is valid until November 10, 2024. Silver and Bronze Passes will expire 18 months after the date of the Freeroll. NAPT Satellite tickets will expire 60 days after being credited and Step 3 tickets will expire 12 months after being credited. All elements of the prizes are strictly non-transferable, non-exchangeable and may not be re-sold. No cash or any other alternative is available for any element of the prizes. After the conclusion of Power Path, any unused Step 3 tickets will be converted into Tournament Money (“T-Money”) or another suitable replacement.
- If any element of a prize becomes unavailable, or if a winner is unable to use/take part in any element of their prize, for any reason beyond PokerStars’ reasonable control, PokerStars is not obliged to offer an alternative prize or any cash alternative or compensation.
Additional information for winners of NAPT Gold Pass and Silver Pass (“Live Event Prizes”)
- The winners of Live Event Prizes (“Live Event Prize Winners”) agree to be bound by the PokerStars live events terms available at www.pokerstarslive.com/about/tos/.
- Live Event Prizes do not include any costs, taxes, fees, expenses and/or arrangements not expressly specified in the Live Event Prize description. Live Event Prize Winners are solely responsible for, and PokerStars will not be liable to reimburse Live Event Prize Winners/their companion for, any such additional charges and expenses.
- It is the responsibility of Live Event Prize Winners to check any requirements for the hotel, event venue and any other supplier providing elements of the Live Event Prize. Live Event Prize Winners are bound by, and must comply with, any terms and conditions set out on their Live Event Prize tickets and the rules, regulations, requirements and policies of the hotel, event venue, event promoter and any other supplier connected with the Live Event Prize. PokerStars is not responsible for any failure of Live Event Prize Winners to gain entry or re-entry to the hotel and/or event, or to participate in any element of the prize, due to any action/inaction on the part of the Live Event Prize Winner and/or their companion.
- It is the responsibility of Live Event Prize Winners to check and ensure that they satisfy all customs, security and immigration requirements in relation to travel between the travel destination and their country of departure (including all requirements relating to passports, visas and other documentation). PokerStars has no liability if a Live Event Prize Winner is refused entry because they do not satisfy such requirements and Live Event Prize Winners are solely responsible for all costs associated with refused entry.
- It is the responsibility of Live Event Prize Winners to check any government travel advisories relating to the travel destination and to determine what action to take in relation to any such advisories. PokerStars has no liability if a Live Event Prize Winner does not make such checks, if they choose to travel despite the advice given in any relevant advisory or if they choose not to travel on the advice given in any relevant advisory (in which case PokerStars will not be obliged to offer a substitute prize).
- It is the responsibility of Live Event Prize Winners to check whether any vaccinations and/or prescription medicines are recommended or required prior to travel and PokerStars has no liability in this respect.
- It is the responsibility of Live Event Prize Winners to take out their own travel insurance in connection with their Live Event Prize. PokerStars will have no liability for any failure by a Live Event Prize Winner to take out travel insurance and/or to comply with the terms and conditions of their travel insurance policy.
Additional information for winners of all prizes
- PokerStars has no liability for lost or stolen tickets, vouchers, certificates and/or other documentation connected with a prize. Winners must not do anything that may bring the PokerStars, any of its group companies or its commercial partners into disrepute. PokerStars reserves the right to take appropriate action (including the removal of any element of the live event package) if a winner acts in a way that PokerStars reasonably considers to bring the PokerStars, any of its group companies or its commercial partners into disrepute.
- PokerStars is not liable for any loss, theft, damage or injury caused or sustained by a winner as a result of participating in their prize (except that PokerStars will be liable for death or personal injury arising from PokerStars’ negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation).
