Harvey Keitel stars as Meyer Lansky, a man investigated by the Feds for supposedly hiding millions of dollars away over the course of 50 years.
4th August – Joy Ride

Joy Ride stars Ashley Park, Sherry Cola, Stephanie Hsu, and Sabrina Wu. The hilarious and unapologetically explicit story of identity and self-discovery centres on four unlikely friends who embark on a once-in-a-lifetime international adventure. When Audrey’s (Ashley Park) business trip to Asia goes sideways, she enlists the aid of Lolo (Sherry Cola), her irreverent, childhood best friend who also happens to be a hot mess; Kat (Stephanie Hsu), her college friend turned Chinese soap star; and Deadeye (Sabrina Wu), Lolo’s eccentric cousin. Their no-holds-barred, epic experience becomes a journey of bonding, friendship, belonging, and wild debauchery that reveals the universal truth of what it means to know and love who you are.
11th August – Gran Turismo

Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfilment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional race car driver.

Gal Gadot stars as intelligence operative Rachel Stone who’s in a race against time to stop a hacker from stealing and releasing the agency’s most valuable weapon.
11st August – Red, White and Royal Blue
Available on Prime Video.
Based on the best-selling novel from Casey McQuiston’s hit novel, Red, White and Royal Blue is set in a better world where Uma Thurman is president of the United States, and her son falls in love with a prince from the British royal family.
18th August – Shelter
Available on Prime Video.
Harlan Coben’s Shelter follows Mickey (Jaden Michael), a teen boy who finds himself wrapped up in the disappearance of a student at his new school. As he and his friends search for her, they begin to uncover dark secrets about their small town, and some secrets about Mickey’s own family history too.
23rd August – The Blackening
Available at cinemas nationwide.
The Blackening centres around a group of Black friends who reunite for a Juneteenth weekend getaway only to find themselves trapped in a remote cabin with a twisted killer. Forced to play by his rules, the friends soon realize this ain’t no game. Directed by Tim Story (Ride Along, Think Like A Man , Barbershop ) and co-written by Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip, Harlem) and Dewayne Perkins “The Amber Ruffin Show,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), The Blackening skewers genre tropes and poses the sardonic question: if the entire cast of a horror movie is Black, who dies first?
