Welcome to The Paris Casino in Las Vegas

July 13, 2023

The Paris Casino stands in what is unanimously considered the gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas.

In a city where replicas and inspiration to other European cities are not new at all, Paris immediately found itself literally having to aim high to be noticed. In the original design, dating back to 1995, the aim was to rebuild a full-size version of the world-famous Eiffel Tower. However, this would interfere with air traffic at the nearby Harry Reid International Airport and the design was redesigned to a much smaller scale of 1:2.

Scale

The entire casino area covers an area of almost 10 hectares, which is a lot even for a city like Las Vegas. It houses a 33-storey hotel just behind the tower and a casino with top-level entertainment options.

With such dimensions, the cost of construction was enormous, and the final cost was estimated to be around $760 million. The speed at which the tower was erected was also incredible, the project was commissioned in May 1995 and the tower opened to the public just 4 years later in September 1999.

Since then, the Paris casino has been the venue for many international performances and shows such as “the Producers”, Fargo, the Apocalypse miniseries, and the film Resident Evil Extinction.

THE GAME OFFER

The games available are designed for the most demanding players and this offering is exactly what makes the Paris Casino one of the very best in the world.

There are 130 live gaming tables, including:

In addition to these games, there are a range of poker tables to choose from:

  • Pai Gow Poker – an interesting match between Western Poker and Oriental Pai Gow.
  • Let it Ride Poker – a variation of 5-card poker that can reach amazing payouts.
  • 3-card Poker.

All are framed by large, spacious and extremely colorful rooms as in the finest American tradition.

There are simply so many Slot machines and the casino’s official sources estimate the number to be at more than 1,700. Added to an already extremely abundant offering is the opportunity to bet on live events, including Horse Racing.

HOTELS AND ROOMS

All rooms are obviously Parisian-themed.

There are almost 3,000 rooms available. These offer small variations on the theme based on the visitors’ needs and whether they want to have a view of the replica of the tower or not.

The beds are always strictly King-size and are divided into the following variants:

  • Burgundy room 2 Queen with two large beds and available for smokers.
  • Burgundy Executive Suite King Single.
  • The Burgundy executive suite 2 Queen overlooking the tower.
  • Burgundy Room King with tower view.

SERVICES

There is also a wide range of wellness and leisure facilities available at the hotel. Plus, you’ll find coffee shops, a sauna, gym, hairdresser, poolside bar, spa treatments, breakfast and a safe deposit box at the front desk.

CONVENIENCE

Inside the rooms, guests can expect air-conditioning, a refrigerator, safe, telephone, 24-hour room service and in-room massage.

SPA

The spa facilities are certainly the ones that offer the most variety of accommodation options. It’s difficult to list them all, but among the main ones we can list:

  • Hot stone massage.
  • Couple treatments.
  • Individual massages.
  • Swedish massage.
  • Facial treatments.
  • Hydrotherapy.
  • Aromatherapy.
  • Manicure and pedicure.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

Mostly French-themed, the restaurants and cafés bring a wide variety without ever succumbing to the temptation to stick a fast-food chain somewhere. Choices for visitors range from top-of-the-range restaurants, cocktails with samples and creperies to Boulangerie and European-style cafés.

More famous names for dining include Mon Ami Gabi, followed in good company by Martha Stewart’s Bedford, a Japanese restaurant by famous chef Nobu and Guy Savoy’s brioche.

Gordon Ramsey also has its own Steakhouse space within this complex and Bobby’s Burger closes the line.

ENTERTAINMENT

The attraction the casino is most famed for is of course the replica Eiffel Tower. It’s possible to book a visit to the top online, and while the Nevada backdrop may not be able to compete with Paris, the view is still a sight to behold for visitors.

NIGHTLIFE

As you’d expect, after-dark entertainment is also not left to chance. Guests will be spoiled for choice:

  • The Sports Bar – for those who want to rejoice in the game like a real Yankee.
  • Napoleon’s Lounge – for a more relaxed drink.
  • Le Central Bar – a French after-dinner bar.
  • The American-style Gustav’s bar.
  • The Rooftop Chateau Nightclub – offering a beautiful terrace experience with panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip.

SHOPS AND SHOPPING

Unfortunately, the big names you can find at the Bellagio or the Mirage are missing. Despite this, there are plenty of shops. A Davidoff boutique for cigar lovers and a good distillate, a gift shop loaded with souvenirs for the last-minute shopper and a small supermarket where you can find everyday necessities.

For those looking for stylish clothing, there are three shops which cover clothing for:

  • Young and casual men and women.
  • Elegant men.
  • Elegant women.

Since beauty is a must in a city like Vegas, it is also possible to refuel and take a look around the nearby beauty, cosmetics and make-up shops.
