Remember, remember! The 4th of November, Slow Poker, treason and pots.

If you live in or near Las Vegas and you’d like to win a seat in the NAPT Main Event, repeat that verse over and over – that info could prove very valuable to you.

Here’s why.

On November 4th, the poker vlogger Slow Poker will play live poker in a Vegas or Vegas-area public poker room for at least six hours.

If you’re the first to spot him and follow the rules below, you’ll be playing NAPT Las Vegas for free.

But why?

RUNNER RUNNER – ROUND 2

A couple of years ago, Poker.org ran the first Runner Runner promotion. One poker player — who turned out to be Slow Poker — was selected to be the Runner (in secret), and their mission was to avoid being found before the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) 2023. If they managed to avoid detection, they kept the Platinum Pass worth $25K. But if they were found, the finder would claim the Pass for themselves.

Slow Poker travelled the country playing poker, forced to give out clues to the sofa sleuths trying to crack the case as he went. Here’s how that went down:

Now it’s time to go again.

“This time, it seems hard to believe Slow Poker doesn’t get popped in the first hour or two,” writes Poker.org editor-in-chief Brad Willis. “First off, November 4 is a Monday, not some weekend summer day teeming with poker players on every wait list. Second, he can’t leave the Las Vegas metro area, so his choices of places to play are relatively limited. Finally, he has to have his butt in a seat for at least six hours during that time period.”

Willis continues: “Yes, he can disguise himself, and you should expect him to do so. But honestly, this should be easy, especially since he’ll be required to check in regularly on his social channels, and we’ll be posting everything we know about him publicly in a live thread on this site.”

Fancy hunting the runner for a shot at a $5,300 seat for the Main Event?

HERE’S HOW YOU WIN:

  • Get your Bounty Hunter ID card. It will be in the October 29th edition of The Org newsletter. Sign up here to have it automatically sent to your inbox.
  • Find the Runner in Las Vegas on November 4. Slow Poker is required to be at a Las Vegas area poker table for six hours on that day.
  • Begin a video recording with your phone. Get Slow Poker’s attention and say, “How do you feel about rabbit hunting?”
  • Get confirmation. If you have found Slow Poker, he will respond, “I’m fine with rabbit hunters, but I don’t like bounty hunters.”
  • Identify yourself as a Bounty Hunter. Tell Slow Poker, “I’m a Bounty Hunter.” He’ll take it from there. He’ll ask to see your Bounty Hunter ID Card and shoot a video with you.

After that, it’s just a few quick formalities, and you’ll be playing the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event the next day.

Happy hunting.
