Home / Six additional Platinum Passes up for grabs for US players – live and online

The Road To PSPC hits Pennsylvania and online leaderboards awarding Platinum Passes continue across the US, offering both live and online players in the US more opportunities to earn their ticket to the Bahamas.

Road to PSPC Pennsylvania

Following the most recent Road to PSPC in Maryland, PokerStars is thrilled to announce additional stops, with three events coming to Pennsylvania in October. If you’re a live poker player hunting for a Platinum Pass, check out the following:

  • October 8-9: $200 Women’s Event at Live! Casino – Philadelphia
  • October 13-16: $360 Main Event at Live! Casino, $200k gtd – Philadelphia
  • October 27-30: $360 NLHE at Live! Casino Pittsburgh – Greensburg

Look out for the Main Event in particular, which has a huge $200k in cash prizes. Female players can also head to the Women’s Only Event earlier in the month, and all players can take part in the $360 NLHE event in Pittsburgh to round off the trio of tournaments.

That’s three exciting events, each of which will pay out not a Platinum Pass worth $30k to first place along with the usual cash prize pools. It’s a load of extra value for players and a potentially life changing package for the winner.

Online leader boards to award six more Platinum Passes

Online players in the US will also be treated to more chances to win a Platinum Pass.

Last month, the top players from COOP leaderboards given a shot at freerolls, with the winning players awarded Platinum Passes. Leaderboards will continue throughout the month of October.

Players at the top of online leaderboards in Pennsylvania (top 500), Michigan (top 300) and New Jersey (top 200) will be awarded tickets to a freeroll. The top player from each freeroll will walk away with a Platinum Pass.

That’s three more online players from the US who will be heading to the PSPC in the Bahamas in January.

Platinum Pass explained

The Platinum Pass is one of the most spectacular prizes a poker player can win. It’s your ticket to the PSPC, and so much more. Here’s what the Platinum Pass includes:

  • $25,000 buy-in to the PSPC Main Event
  • Six nights hotel accommodation for winner and a guest in a 5-star hotel
  • Airport transfer
  • $1,900 in expenses
  • Platinum Pass Winner experiences during the event

A Platinum Pass is your all expenses paid ticket to the Bahamas for the ultimate poker trip and the chance to play for millions of dollars. It’s worth $30,000. Not too shabby.
