SWIFT GUN (5) switched to the in-form Seib yard and was well supported at Albury first-up, but looked a run short. Found more like his best following beaten a whisker at Goulburn over this distance from the speed. Has an inside gate and a handy 3kg claim, and he can go one better. KING CZAR (3) raced forward and went close at Albury over 1400m. He was having his second outing for the Davidson stable and looks to be back on track. Maps well and Heywood is a key jockey switch replacing the 2kg apprentice. BLACK FROST (7) impressed winning his Maiden easily at Tatura over 1980m. Comes back to the mile off a 38-day freshener and has been kept up to the mark with a win over 1300m at the Bendigo jumpouts. Has an awkward barrier but should be hitting the line hard. ALBANIAN BEAUTY (1) draws even wider but is racing well enough to feature if things work out. Metro-trained and has been kept on the fresh side.
