Had the race won on the turn when leading throughout for a decisive victory over 2300m in the G3 Newcastle Cup. Finds a lot more pressure here and expected to go on with it from the low gate. GREEN SPACES (4) ATC Derby winner last year who gets a better set-up fourth up. Chipped away late from the wide gate when eleventh in the G2 Kingston Town Stakes over 2000m at this track. Only has to recapture the Derby win to figure prominently. DEAKIN (3) tough import who ran a tidy eighth in the G1 Caulfield Cup last year. Fitter after two runs back and gets on pace favours. THE EUPHRATES (1) two runs for the new yard have been sound but will need to go to a new level with the 59kg. Led throughout with a soft win in the G2 Kingston Town Stakes at this track. Gets a better set-up and stays in the mix. THEBUDGIESMUGLA (8) has a good record at the trip and don't dismiss in this grade.
