SIRAGUSA (6) settled just off the speed the lengthened nicely to get up for second when resuming over 1250m at the Kensington track last start. Getting out over a bit more ground is a positive move. Lightly raced four-year-old who has had his issues but looks to be in for a bright prep. CONCRETE STORM (10) has hit his straps this prep with two consecutive wins, the latest by the barest margin over Stallone after leading from the outset in a BM64 over this distance at Hawkesbury. Needs to go to a new level now but with the light weight from gate one he gets his chance. VERBIL (1) was fresh from a seven-week let-up when a reasonable fourth over 1250m at the Kensington track recently. Needs this trip and has been in the money at both third-up runs. ANTHROPOID (9) has been consistent this time in work including a good third in a similar race at Warwick Farm two back. J Mac goes on so he comes right under notice. Import ERTIJAAJ (5) resumes. Strong winner first-up in Melbourne last prep.
