BRADLEY (2) was an overdue maiden winner fresh up at Matamata during the spring, and then went close to another win with a nose defeat here 4 weeks ago, when flashing home late from near last on the home turn. He has a better draw and can have the last say this time. DRAGON BLOSSOM (10) has been handled patiently and finally got the job done at Arawa Park nearly a month ago. Bruno Queiroz has picked up the ride, and she can repeat the dose. DARK AND DUSTY (3) ran on strongly fresh up when finishing third here last month, and then won at Otaki 8 days ago by a neck. He is still on the up, and will be hard to hold out again. NEW YORK BELLE (7) has improved since resuming from a spell, and followed up her easy win fresh up with a game second at Tauherenikau just over 3 weeks ago. Craig Grylls has returned to the saddle, and the pair merits healthy respect. SAM'S TURN (6) has yet to find his good poly track form on the turn, but can improve sharply on a firmer surface. Don't risk him.
