MY MATE ELVIS (4) huge jump in trip and class when he came to town for a surprise second over 1550m at Canterbury. Trained locally and a repeat performance should see him prove too good for these. THESANDMANCAN (12) much better run second-up when he shouldered the big weight for a tidy fourth over 1180m at Gundagai. Finds a suitable race over the extra trip and can play a leading role. ROCKABYE ROXY (3) racing more consistently this campaign and expected to shed her Maiden tag this time in. Returned good figures from the wide gate with an unlucky head second over 1425m at Moruya. Hard to hold out. BROKEN IMAGE (7) has a host of gear changes for this in an attempt to switch her on. Best efforts have been over this trip and place best.
