Successful at Hereford and Exeter in the second half of last season and left a below-par reappearance behind when runner-up back at Hereford (25f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Considered.

Won 3 on the bounce over hurdles last November/December. Better effort fences this term when third of 7 over 3m at Wetherby 25 days ago and remains capable of better in this sphere. Big player.

Bagged staying handicap chases in the mud at Leicester and Sedgefield last winter. Good third in course hurdle on reappearance and ran well from out of the handicap back over fences at Kelso last time. Races off his proper mark this time.

Won a pair of handicap chases at the end of 2023. Largely struggled since but entitled to come on for last month's Bangor reappearance, when beaten 20 lengths into third.

Thrived back over fences last term, completing a hat-trick. Stepped up on reappearance when fourth of 10 at Lingfield last month and he's only 1 lb above his last successful mark.

Cheltenham winner in October 2024 but his form has tailed off in the last 12 months, including pulling up in Ascot Class 2 latest. May find life easier in this lower grade but others have less to prove.

Back-to-back winner of deep-ground 2½m handicap chases in December 2023 but largely struggled since, although he might have still needed the run when a remote fourth at Chepstow last time and this is a drop in grade. Up in trip.
