BLANCHLAND (4) on top here. His return over 1600m at Sandown Hillside was very good at big odds, finding the line strongly for fourth with plenty of improvement to come. His form over this sort of trip and further in Europe is outstanding for a race like this and he can improve quickly. CAPTAIN ELECTRIC (14) was a dominant winner first up at Mornington on wet ground, racing clear to score by 5.5 lengths. More depth here but if there's rain around he'll take a power of beating. I AM THE EMPIRE (7) was only chinned late here in a BM84 last start and drops slightly in grade for this. Tougher draw this time around but with some early luck he'll give a sight. EUPHORIC (2) was good out to this trip at Flemington and will be hard to hold out again while TROSETTEE (1) could measure up, especially if there's rain.
