Handy race. Leaning to SUMO SANDY (3) who tackles this at his third race start. He's just found one better at both starts to date, edged out here as a $1.55 favourite last start. Better for that again, he'll roll forward and can repay the faith. SAVAMOON (2) ran a strong race fresh here over 1400m, boxing on well for a narrow second. Fitter for that and will relish getting to a mile second up. Big chance. TASSRON (5) debuted over this trip at Seymour and ran well for second, beaten a neck. Like the draw for him, he'll be hard to hold out. THURMOND (6) resumes. He showed promise last time in, not far away in either run against decent opposition. Wary. TOPMOST (7) is going well with three minor placings to his name. Each-way chance again from a tricky draw.
