FIOREEN (15) did enough at the end of her first-up run in almost a year. Banking on some natural fitness improvement and, from a good draw, she should be able to settle closer in the run. She's untapped but she might be able to make a bit of a statement here at a bit of a price. EXTRA HOT (4) has been racing very well and her booming finish makes her an each-way chance. RUNAWAY STATEMENT (5) hasn't measured up in two runs since a spell but fitter is a place hope here. SWYCHO (3) returned from a spell with reasonable effort last start when fifth while TROPICAL HOUSE (13) is a handy sort with two wins from four runs, scoring last time over 1533m at Morphettville on soft going.
