Both her wins have come on heavy tracks and proven at the distance. GENTILESCHI (14) Scone-trained mare with her hoof on the till fifth up. Stalked the tempo but failed to match it with She's Unusual over the final 200m when second at Randwick over 1800m. Ready for this trip now, and a repeat effort will see her go close. SOUNDS UNUSUAL (7) stretches out to the 2000m for the first time after getting out of his ground when an even eighth over 1600m at Randwick. Drops in weight and can surprise at the good each way odds. ASSAILANT (17) imported gelding kept fresh for this at his third Australian start. Stays in the mix.
