He will see out a mile better than most in this and should go close to taking it out. BANKSIA BEACH (9) was a beaten favourite at Warwick 8 days ago and needed the hitout. She will be close to her peak fitness third up, and can bounce back into form here. Each way value, so follow your money. LET'SGO HUGO (4) did not finish his race off as well as expected at Dalby a fortnight ago and will be spot on with his fitness for this assignment. His only win came third up last prep, and he is ready to show his best now, especially with the aid of a 3kg claim. MALECON (5) steps up to a more suitable trip, third up from a spell, and he should hold his spot early on from the pole position. He has 3kg less to carry this time, and can figure in the top 3. EARL OF DEVON (1) did not enjoy a very testing track here last start as favourite. He can make amends.
