The debutants should be fighting it out. Hard to go past BY CHOICE (8), who presents for the Waterhouse-Bott yard. She's won both metro trials and spaced them by 4.4L at Randwick her latest. She's likely to jump and run and will be the testing material. HIGHWIRE ARTIST (3) just missed in a recent Goulburn trial. Has an awkward gate but Cahill's booking is a positive lead, and the local barn can't be taken lightly. BAR JESTER (2) lines up for Nick Olive stable and hasn't been seen since trialling okay here in September. The gate is a little sticky, but you'd expect him to be primed to run a good race. MUSIC TIME (6) was placed in the same trial and hasn't been seen publicly since. Has a low gate, and an in-form jockey is aboard. Should go well.
