PARDON MY FRENCH (4) looks set to peak here third up having been around the mark in two handy races this time in, trying hard at Sandown Lakeside last time out when beaten a neck in stronger company. Needs a good ride from the apprentice but if she gets it she'll be very hard to beat. GROUSE MOUNTAIN (5) continues to race well, winning two of her past three, proving far too strong over this route in a Class 1 last time out. She'll likely land in front and prove very hard to run down. BLACKBERRY BOMB (1) was outclassed fresh in strong company at Bendigo but atoned with a solid win here last time out. Can go on with the job now. MISHARE (2) won well here at double-figure odds fresh and has claims while SAVVYROCKER (7) has ability and can figure first up.
