DE BOODE makes plenty of appeal on paper and can build on the promise of her debut to get off the mark at the second time of asking. Sidney Reilly shaped well in a race that has produced a few winners on her racecourse bow and she's feared most ahead of recent barrier-trial winner Beijinho who could well make an impact on first start under Rules.

$70,000 2-y-o. Nyquist filly. Dam, US 5.5f-8.5f winner (including at 2 yrs and third in Canadian Grade 3 6f event), half-sister to US Grade 1 9f winner Vacare. Won a 7-runner barrier trial at Naas in May and looks an interesting newcomer for powerful ownership.

Well backed on debut and showed promise when fourth of 17 in maiden at Cork (8f, soft, 9/2) 84 days ago, kept on and not unduly punished. That race has produced subsequent winners and he may well improve second time up.

Looked a longer term prospect when eleventh of 14 in a maiden at this C&D (20/1) on debut in February. Would need to leave that form well behind but she's in excellent hands and is worth a market check for yard that have won 3 of the last 4 renewals of this race.
