SHANGRI LA SPRING (1) grows a leg for rider Clark who has three wins and a placing from five steers and made every post a winner saluting in the Group 3 Frank Packer Plate last time out. Drops back in trip here but should be right there at the business end. CHURCHILL'S CHOICE (16) had strung three wins together to start the career before just missing the placings at Group 3 level at the latest effort. Will strip fitter for that hit-out and looms as the main danger. WONDER BOY (2) got a well-deserved victory last start and brings different formlines to the table. Top-three commodity. BOOMTOWN BOSS (3) has won his past two starts here and can handle the rise in class. DEPTH OF CHARACTER (4) got the job done over this track and trip at the latest run and looks one for the exotics players.
