Competitive. NOBLE DECREE (2) missed a nose at the Sunshine Coast when expected to win and then showed a nice turn off foot to win comfortably at Doomben as a $2.7 favourite. Races forward and 32% stable striker Maloney rides for the first time. In a sharp barn and can go on with the job. NOVEMBER SUN (10) brings strong Doomben form and missed a whisker last time heavily bet. Stays down in the weights and is ready to win. FACUNDO (4) was quickly back on track winning at Doomben and today he has a low barrier and 2kg claim. He also presents fitter and has claims. ESTRONDO (1) impressed winning easily at the Sunshine Coast and then switched to a dry surface at Ipswich and didn't have the best of it. A top hoop is booked today and a bounce isn't out of the question. FIREFORCE (9) tends to mix the form but his best would give him a hope.
