Good contest. SCRIPTED (11) should be hitting her straps fourth-up after some strong efforts down South, beaten narrowly in her last two at Rosehill. Hasn't won for a long time but gets weight relief and the key booking of Thompson from a middle draw. Sets up nicely to break the drought. KOMODO DRAGON (3) has always looked a promising type but a couple of injuries have disrupted him. Didn't give them a sniff last time on the Kenso when sent straight to the front but suspect he won't be ridden with the same vigour here. Gets some weight off with the claimer engaged and is sure to be very competitive. MIDNIGHT SPIRIT (6) was a good winner here when resuming in August and has been solid since. At his top now and is best of the local defence. EASY LOVE (8) returns and has been fitted with a sharp trial win. Will be looking for further after this but this a good kick-off point. LIM'S SHAVANO (4) was less effective last time after an encouraging return. Keeping safe in exotics.
