Sticking with JIMMY THE BEAR (3) who was just given no hope from a wide barrier here last time out, running on for a forlorn second as a heavily backed favourite. He may not have beaten the impressive winner anyway but had things against, and now draws to sit much closer as he did winning at Caulfield prior. Can bounce right back. REGAL ZEUS (7) was only overrun by 'Jimmy' late last start and maps for every chance here. If he gets left alone in front he'll go close. VERDAD (12) was third to 'Jimmy' last time and gets in light here with 54.5kg. Needs it dry and should get conditions to suit here. POUNDING (6) is knocking on the door of another elusive win and will be hard to hold out late if the speed is on. DASHING (4) has won 2/3 this time in and looks big odds in early betting.
