Hard to go past BUCCLEUCH (1) who won a key lead up here over 1420m when last seen. He relished a strong test there and came right away from back in the field to score by 2.25 lengths. He should relish the step up to a mile and looks to have these covered with even luck. ARCORA (3) ran second behind Buccleuch there, working home well from back in the field. He should strip fitter for that given he was first up and up to a mile will also suit this son of Justify. BAYOU MUSIC (2) was a smart winner out to 1500m at Bendigo when last seen and looks a promising sort. Brings some different form and can measure up. VALDA WARRIOR (10) ran well behind Bayou Music on debut and should improve off that. SKY DEEL (7) should appreciate 1600m now and is a rough chance.
