BARBER (16) switched from Godolphin to Richard Litt before his eye-catching third when resuming over 1100m at Canterbury last start. Talented sprinter who has been competitive at black-type level since his juvenile days. Big chance down in the weights. XIDAKI (7) worked home fairly without threatening when fresh from a spell over this distance in the Hall Mark Stakes at Randwick last time out. Has been competitive against some serious sprinters so he is not out of place in this line-up. WARNIE (14) is back from a twenty-one-week spell and has been gelded. Opened last prep with a win and can repeat the dose. The under-rated BRUDENELL (2) has been freshened up and trialled well recently. Giving weight to some smart sprinters but he is right up to winning this.
