LADY TASSORT (2) has not raced since finishing seventh in Manaal's Gimcrack over 1000m at Randwick in September 2023. Trialling in magnificent fashion, a testament to the patience showed by the Waterhouse/Bott team. Good enough to win this despite the long absence. MERCY ME (10) led and looked home but was gunned down late when resuming over 1000m at Scone last start. Lightly raced filly who will take a lot from that run and should give backers a sight. MIND YA BIZZ (11) worked home well but had too much ground to make up when fresh from a spell over 1000m at Hawkesbury recently. Better placed out to this trip - one to watch for late in proceedings. SOSUEME (3) overcame a slow start to get up for third when returning from a 229-day spell over 1000m at Scone last time out. Will appreciate the extra trip and looks a sound each-way hope. DENISE'S GAL (4) has been okay in her two runs to date - worth including in exotics.
