RAINBOW LASS (10) hard fit for this and due for a change of luck. Powered late in the heavy (8) going when a narrow second over 1000m at Ballina. Looks well placed from the inside gate today. Goes close. MARS LANDING (14) two career runs have been encouraging and gets through the going. Strong late when fourth over 1200m at Port Macquarie three-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. SPOILER (11) resumes and trained locally. Assess on her good third two starts back over the 1006m here. Can take a hand in the finish. HE'S POPLAR (2) has ability and strips fitter after resuming with an even fifth over 1115m at this track. Proven in the going and maps well.
