MAJORELLE (1) smart gelding who was a dominant winner over 1190m at this track in the soft (7) going. Gets in light again with Newman's claim and has excellent figures over this course and trip. Will prove hard to get past again. SWAMP NATION (9) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 1190m at this track. Placed to advantage with the good weight drop. Each way. BADGERS NUTS (8) has returned a much stronger gelding this time in and proven in the conditions. Finished second last time over 1400m at Gold Coast. Kept fresh and sure to be thereabouts again. FLYING BIRDS (14) drifted back early when a plugging ninth over 1200m at the Gold Coast. Massive drop in the weights and races best over this trip. Respect.
