Despite being a twenty-three-start maiden FARRAIGE (10) is returning figures that suggest he can win this. Closed well to finish second last start in a Class 1 over 2100m at Gosford. Placed four from seven at this distance so we know he gets this trip. Today might be his day. JONNY BE SWIFT (3) was beaten narrowly in a comparable race to this two runs ago at the Beaumont track. Good weight carrier who hasn't won for a while but this looks a nice race for him. DEEMEE (5) has hit form since stepping up in distance, just missing a second win on the bounce over 2200m at Scone three weeks ago. Serious contender. DESCENDING MIST (2) wasn't disgraced in open company at Tamworth last start and will be hard to beat back in a BM58. CASCADE MOUNTAIN (1) is untested at this distance but his recent form is impossible to knock.
