JUST CRUISIN' (7) finished strongly last start, missing by only a neck over 1400m at Launceston behind the top pick. The extra furlong is ideal, and he can turn the tables. FIRST ACCUSED (2) jumped well from the inside to lead last time, and he only gave way late, finishing third over 1400m in the LR Conquering Stakes, behind the top 2 picks. He will again take some catching. BANK MAUR (1) showed early speed and raced handy before fading to finish well back against most of these last time out. There will be no more fitness excuses third up from a spell, and a form reversal will be no surprise. ASHFALL (6) strips fitter second up, and he is worth keeping an eye on.
