BLAMEITONTHEBOOGIE (1) has been in terrific form this campaign with two wins and two minor placings from four starts, most recently scoring by nearly a length over 1100m at Launceston 18 days ago after being prominent throughout. This is not much harder, and he can repeat the dose. HUBUBBAJAHN (8) returned over 1100m here last start and proved too strong, winning by well over a length. She is a lot stronger this prep and can now go on with the job. GEE GEES ME BOY (6) stepped up last time, finishing not far from the winner in second over 1200m here a fortnight ago. He is having a long win drought, but he does drop 4.5kilos from his last start, and may even go one better here. NAVARRE RIVER (3) scored at Launceston two back but was below his best when fifth over 1600m here last start on a wet track; expect improvement, especially on a firmer surface. BLOOMTIME (4) is lightly raced and resumes with solid claims after an encouraging recent trial. Check the markets.
