Looks the likely leader from a low draw and will take some catching. Another interstate visitor in BEAST MODE (1) looks the main danger. He's got a dynamite first-up record and his trials suggest the horse has returned as good as ever. The 1.5kg claim helps his cause. SIR NOW (2) is flying and there's no reason why he can't run well again. LINGANI (5) is a Stakes winner at her best and must be respected first-up, while GRAND HOST (12) has claims on a wet track.
