OUR JUMALA (5) has been freshened up since failing to fire as favourite in the AGC Training Stakes at Whanganui 7 weeks ago. She loves it here, and if not in need of the run, she is good enough to bounce back and win this. BELLES BEAU (7) is a lightly tried but very progressive stablemate of the top pick. He is in a good space and has each-way claims. JOSHUA BROWN (11) was tried in front at Te Rapa last start and fought gamely to the line, finishing second by a neck. He has 200m less to travel this time, and will give his usual honest effort again. BELARDO BOY (1) back to his best with a gritty nose win at Otaki 11 days ago. Stick with him. GOSPODIN (4) will be at full fitness fourth up and will drop 2.5kg from his last start fourth at Te Rapa. Don't risk him. SINBIN (10) is a promising locally trained mare chasing a hat-trick of wins. She is nicely drawn, and the hat-trick is not beyond her. SOLDIER BOY (6) was a bold winner at Te Rapa and can't be ruled out of winning this as well.
