Going the right way on the all-weather (clearly not 100% sole previous start on grass), going close behind one that's won again since at Newcastle (1m) latest. Probably the one to beat if translating that form to turf, with the addition of first-time cheekpieces expected to benefit.

Doubled his tally when successful in a similar C&D handicap last summer. Hit the frame 2 of his 4 starts this season, getting back on track when 2¼ lengths fourth at Ascot latest. This looks a stronger race for the grade, though, and he's still 2 lb above his latest winning mark.

Successful in a lower grade over C&D last June. Has improved since, winning on the all-weather over the winter and finishing a close third in similar company to this at York latest. Winner has given that form a boost, too.

From a fine Juddmonte family. Showed improved form to get off the mark on the all-weather at Deauville (6.5f) in early-January before being sold out of the H-F. Devin yard for 62,000 gns. Probably more to come from this handicap debutant considering his excellent new yard and pedigree.

Highly tried since readily notching her second career success in a 3-y-o handicap at Lingfield (7f) in May. Back at a more realistic level on first start in open company, though probably needs further respite from the handicapper.

Hasn't lived up to the promise of her debut success/pedigree. Fourth in C&D handicap won by a good prospect last time (placed horses haven't franked that form). Does at least benefit from a drop in grade.

Steadily progressive filly. Relished the drop back to 7f when doubling her tally in a 3-y-o handicap at Sandown 3 weeks ago. Now takes on her elders in a stronger race off 4 lb higher.

Placed in a couple of all-weather events over the winter. Matched that form when 3¼ lengths fifth of 10 in a bunch finish on handicap bow here (1m) in mid-May. Eases in grade on return from a further 90-day absence (perhaps isn't the easiest to train).
