Improving sort who has already proved himself to be effective on any ground, winning his maiden at Lingfield on heavy before following up on handicap bow at Newbury (firm). Had something in hand both times so hat-trick could well be on the cards.

Still on the upgrade judged on his all-the-way win at Carlisle and wasn't seen to anything like best effect at Glorious Goodwood 9 days ago. Remains of interest.

Improved to win maiden at Kempton on return and, after being gelded, overcame a pace bias at Wolverhampton on second handicap start last month. Seemed unsuited by a similar scenario fitted with this headgear on a bigger stage at Glorious Goodwood but this less competitive.

All-weather novice winner at 2. Improved again when just denied at Newmarket (Rowley Mile) on handicap bow/return. Not ideally placed at York next time but disappointed here since. Now tries a new trip with headgear applied.

Left his debut behind when winning Kempton novice with a hood added last summer but not seen since down the field in the Solario at Sandown later in the month.

Chased home subsequent Britannia runner-up at Ascot in May and only just denied by a course specialist when bidding to make all at Yarmouth following month. Found run of good form coming to an abrupt halt at York since but type to bounce back quickly. Headgear goes on.

Ready winner of Beverley novice last summer. Very good second at Musselburgh on reappearance/handicap debut but hasn't kicked on, albeit in very competitive events the last twice.
