IRON MAN (1) smart gelding who finds his race today on the quick back-up. Returned good figures late when an eye-catching fourth over this track and trip last Saturday in BM78 grade. Handles the conditions and will take holding out. EQUILIBRIST (7) loves the slop and has a massive fitness edge over most of these. Taken back from the sticky draw last Saturday, before weaving his way between runners with a gritty fourth in this company over 1300m. Can race closer from the draw and figure prominently. ZOURIPPER (3) looks to have come back a more polished product this time in after returning with a slick victory over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Big jump in grade but gets in light with the claim. Each way player. CLOSE ENCOUNTER (10) strengthened over the break and starting to hit his straps. Deserves his chance here after rounding them up effortlessly over 1100m at Nowra in C3 class. AFRICAN DAISY (5) is fitter after two runs back and expected to improve with the blinkers going on.
